It is Day 6 of UR Enough’s Twelve Days of Kindness and we are showing gratitude to those that serve in our community. We stopped by Toronto Fire Station 333 to deliver a selection of yummy treats for all of the firefighters and thank them for the actions and efforts of preserving and protecting our community. Firefighters, paramedics, EMT’s, police men — it takes great dedication to do the work that these first responders do and thanking them for bravery should not be overlooked. Plus, recognizing and celebrating them by saying thank-you might even earn you a seat in their firetruck.
If you have kids, this is a great way to get them involved in the UR Enough’s Twelve Days of Kindness project. Focusing on the idea of gratitude, choose a hero that you believe needs to be recognized in your community. We would suggest calling them first to ensure they know when to expect you.
Stay tuned for Day 7 of UR Enough’s Twelve Days of Kindness. If you are challenging yourself by joining us to spread love and cheer this holiday season, remember to use the hashtag #UREnoughX12DaysofKindness.
